This is a job summary which includes essential job duties of the position. More specific information regarding duties may be provided upon request for particular locations and facilities.

This position will be responsible for the conceptualization, graphic design and creation of finished artwork for printed and online materials related to brand, product and corporate marketing communications programs.Responsibilities:
»Take the creative process from initial client briefing through the design process to completion on a variety of materials including corporate and marketing collateral, events materials, large format graphics, packaging, flyers,
»Confident handling client requirements directly and heading up projects from concept through.
»Experience with a recognized global brand, and working within corporate guidelines…however must still provide creative leadership and produce exceptional work at the standard and beyond of work produced externally.
»Reporting in to creative director and you will be expected to mentor Junior Designers and lead them on projects
»Creative conception, development and execution of a variety of communication vehicles, including but not limited to collateral, POS, merchandising materials, sales collateral and advertising
»Must apply technical knowledge of the basic tools (computers, software and general graphic design principles), along with strategic insight to create impactful solutions that communicate required information
»Ability to begin with a general list of information requirements and manage their placement, color, type treatment and size, in order to develop an information hierarchy that optimizes the intended message to the consumer or audience.
»In the conceptual phase, work with Creative Director to solicit feedback and seek final approval from management.
»Make decisions to get to a final result that is then reviewed for final marketing team approval.
»Provide rationalization on the choices they made on their own work, in addition to providing constructive feedback on their peers.
»Will develop basic copy for packaging and ads


Qualifications



* Experience working in a cross functional environment
* Experience with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Quark Express, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks & Flash
* Superior leadership and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
* Experience with copy writing
* Proven experience in the design, development and production of simple and complex flash video


Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Graphic Design
4-6 years experience working in Graphic Design
Preferred Qualifications:
Consumer Products Industry Experience
