Graphic Designer / production artist boss group

The BOSS Group, a creative placement agency that matches creative Graphic Design Professionals with top freelance, temp-to-hire, and direct placement opportunities is currently looking for qualified talent to place with various clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to smaller agencies. Our Washington DC Metro office is presently recruiting for candidates with the following skill sets:
Graphic Designer : talented mid to senior level freelance Designers with remarkable portfolios who are passionate about visual communications. We are looking for designers who understand that it is not just about making something look good, it is about distilling abstract and new-to-the-world ideas into compelling and delightful clarity.
Requirements:
• BS/BA or BFA in related field required
• At least two plus years design experience
• PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Quark
• Strong knowledge of principles of graphic and visual design
• Knowledge of Dreamweaver and Flash a plus
• Excellent design skills
Production Artist:Production Artist must possess a working understanding of layout and web production. These candidates will have excellent type and color skills and be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Requirements:
• 3 years production experience
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Freehand, Photoshop
• Experience prepping files
• Proficiency with InDesign
• Strong professional portfolio

Art Director: Senior level Design professionals who have experience conceptualizing advertising campaigns from development through completion. Art Directors must demonstrate the ability to translate ideas to many mediums.
Requirements:
• College Degree in Design or closely related field
• 5 years of experience in Design and Art Direction
• Complete mastery of Quark/InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of both PC and MAC platforms
• Ability to work within a team environment on tight deadlines
Proposal Designer: with keen production skills to work on long, text-heavy documents. Proposal Graphic Designers should be capable of showcasing their abilities to multi-task and work effectively on projects such as proposals, templates, graphs, charts and document layout.
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree
• Experience in a proposal environment
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Word Perfect
• Resumes must reflect strong design skills
